Explore Amesbury - Youth & Family e-news

Hello kids, families, and friends,

Since January, we have offered monthly Activity Guides to use during visits to historic sites in Amesbury’s Upper Millyard. Each of the 5 guides focus on a different landmark to introduce a specific aspect Amesbury's industrial history.

Also in the guides are home-based activities, from word puzzles to drawing, to reinforce what was discovered during the outing. Glossaries explain all of the new terms and reading lists are provided for further learning. So much to learn in such a fun way!

Now that we have warm weather perfect for millyard visits, we hope you will make use of these resources, if you haven't already done so. Learn about:

THE GATEWAY ARCH ... THE GRISTMILL STONE ... MILL 2 ... TEXTILE MANUFACTURING ... POWOW RIVER

Visit our new Youth & Family webpage on the ACM website to access all of the Activity Guides.
