From the Executive Director's Desk: 2022 Annual Appeal and Annual Meeting
As the last leaves fall from the trees here at the IHC, we at ACM are preparing for two annual occurrences: The beginning of the 2022 Annual Appeal and our 37th Annual Meeting. This year, our Annual Appeal looks back on the programs we offered in our first full year of programming in the Industrial History Center, and seeks to take us even further next year, to enrich the vibrant community of Amesbury. Your gift of any amount will ensure we can provide even more inspiring educational programs next year.
This year at the Annual Meeting, it is our pleasure to host Robert Forrant, PhD, Distinguished University Professor of History and History Graduate Program Coordinator at UMass Lowell. He has been on the history faculty at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since 1994. Prior to that, he worked for nearly fifteen years as a machinist and union business agent in Springfield, MA. His newest book is Where are the Workers: Interpreting Labor and Working-Class History at Museums and Historic Sites, University of Illinois Press, 2022.
We hope you will give generously to the 2022 Annual Appeal to help us reach our programming goals, and look forward to seeing you at our 37th Annual Meeting! Register here.
Sincerely,
Kelly
