At the holidays, as we speak with family and friends near and far, we often share favorite stories of the last year and treasured memories of years long past.

All year round, similar interactions happen at ACM’s Industrial History Center. Our staff and volunteers hear visitors recount precious childhood stories, recall significant people and places from their past, and tell about generations of family who called Amesbury home. Of course, we also meet many newcomers to the area, who relate why they have chosen our special little city for the next chapter in their lives.

ACM and the IHC are so important to the city of Amesbury and we hope you agree. Our exhibits, the community pictures on our walls, and the programs and events hosted in the IHC always elicit stories and help build our strong community.

We ask you to continue ACM’s mission into 2023 and beyond by contributing to our Annual Appeal. Let’s preserve our individual and group stories for future generations. Let us continue to be leaders, teachers, historians, entertainers.…storytellers in Amesbury.
