homeschool handwork - 8 week Course
This small group class, offered for eight weeks (September 16 to November 18, 2024), from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, will introduce children to knitting. Led by a Waldorf-trained instructor, participants will learn to make their own knitting needles and learn to knit, and purl. For ages 7+.

homeschool Days
These monthly programs running throughout the school year, offer children the opportunity for hands-on learning and socialization in an engaging, welcoming space. Themes explored include water power, industrialization, inventors, child labor, free play, and more. We offer private bookings as well.
Cost: $10 per child.

scouts/youth group programs, visits, and tours
Welcome scout & brownie troops, homeschoolers, and community groups! We can customize content to meet your needs. See our School Programming page for themes or talk to us about badge requirements for your troop. Cost is $10 per participant.

Family summer music series
Sponsored by the Amesbury Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council, the Family Summer Music Series is a series of free music lessons/concerts for kids. Zach Fields Music Studio will offer a demo and lessons for kids ages 5+. Alicia Teaches Music will offer a music class for toddlers, ages 1 +.

Children’s story hour
Join local Youth Services Librarian, Miss Clare for a monthly story hour inside the Industrial History Center, from January to March. Ages 1-5.
