Bring your camera and take a tour with guest artist/photographer Courtney Jordan to industrial sites, both interior and exterior.
The goal of the program is to provide opportunities to explore the built environment, to make photographic images that capture the qualities of these spaces, and through the production of a photographic collection - deepen the connection to Amesbury history.
We’ll develop a gallery on the museum website and select a few photos to display on easels in our offices for the Amesbury Open Studios event (Saturday, November 9th).
The sites we will visit include:
Mill 2 – historic 1826 mill building (interior & exterior)
Mill 7 – interior of Old Newbury Crafters
Counting House exterior
Powow River dam and other features
Starting location: Upper Millyard Gateway Arch, Main Street [map] [photo]
Members $15 / Non-members $20
Limited to 15 participants.
