The Amesbury Carriage Museum has a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals ages 14 and up. Whether you have a passion for history, enjoy engaging with the public, or prefer working behind the scenes, we have a role for you! Below are some of the key areas where you can contribute:

  1. Special Event Staffing: Assist in organizing and managing our special events.

  2. Museum Docent: Guide visitors through our exhibits, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm.

  3. Tour Guide: Lead tours and provide informative, engaging experiences for our guests.

  4. Front Desk at the IHC: Welcome visitors, answer questions, and provide information.

  5. Historical Research and Writing: Help with research projects and contribute to our written materials.

  6. Facilities Maintenance: Assist with fixing, cleaning, and moving to ensure our space is well-maintained.

  7. Committee Service: Join one of our committees - Finance, Development, Communications, Programs, and Collections.

  8. Office Help: Assist with mailings, donor management, and flier distribution.

  9. Communications and Social Media Support: Help manage our online presence and communications.
