Welcome!
The Industrial History Center opened in October 2021 after a successful capital campaign and renovation of the space. Since opening, we have had thousands of visitors come to Amesbury’s Upper Millyard to view our exhibits and participate in events. We hope to see you soon!

Parking
Free 2-hour on-the-street parking is available on Main, Friend, Water, and Market Streets.
Free parking lots:

Directions
Follow the map to Industrial History Center, Mill 2, Upper Millyard, Amesbury (next to Flatbread Pizza) Google Maps may bring you to Amesbury Industrial Supply. We are in the basement of that building so find street parking nearby and follow the brick path into the millyard.
From Main Street / 5 Market Square:
• Go through the archway to the Upper Millyard between 7 Market Square and the Counting House.
• Pass Flatbread Company on the right
• Entrance to IHC immediately on the right
From the Friend Street Parking Lot:
Go down the staircase near Newburyport Savings Bank and cross the bridge over the river. The IHC is straight ahead, next to Flatbread Pizza. If you cross the bridge near Bluemoon Cafe, follow the brick path around the corner to the right and into the millyard. We will be on the left, just past the mural.
