About the author: Edith Maxwell, Amesbury resident and Agatha Award winning author, releases A Changing Light , her seventh historical Quaker Midwife Mystery.
About the book: The book is set during the Amesbury carriage manufacturers’ Spring Opening in 1890. Despite the tuberculosis epidemic and changes both personal and nationwide, midwife Rose Carroll hunts down the killer of one of the international visitors.
This event is free and open to the public. It will take place at the Industrial History Center (planned for official opening Summer of 2021) in the Upper Millyard, Amesbury. This new facility is In Mill 2, adjacent to Flatbread Company, and across from the amphitheater.
