The Childrens CorneR
Looking for a fun and creative way to spark your child’s imagination? Come explore our brand-new loose-parts, Montessori-themed play corner—a hands-on space designed especially for children ages 2 and up!
Children can build, create, and explore with various open-ended materials that encourage discovery, problem-solving, and joyful play. Visit us at the Industrial History Center and let your whole family experience history through play!
and Wednesday Morning Play!
The Children’s Corner was made possible by the generous support of the Greg T. Jardis Charitable Trust in memory of Claire E. Walter.
Join us for a Weekly Wednesday Morning Play
While the Children’s Corner is available to all during our visiting hours, our Wednesday Morning Play sessions provide an opportunity for young children to engage in open-ended play without our regular traffic of visitors. During these sessions, our play space expands into a larger foot print and additional rotating activities are added.
This is also an opportunity for caregivers to connect with other families in the community as their children play.
Complimentary tea and coffee is provided for adults and a by-donation “snack bar” is available for littles.
Each session is $10 per family or FREE with a Family Level Membership.
