Hats and High tea 2026

Save the date for Hats and High Tea! An afternoon of tasty tea, delectable treats, and savory bites to be enjoyed with good company. Wear your most fabulous hat for a chance to win our annual hat contest.

Your ticket also includes admission to a new tradition: The Little Lawn Party. Attend this pre-party for lemonade and cookies, lawn games, and a photo of you and your group (to be picked up or delivered after the event).

Separate tickets for the Lawn party are available for guests not attending the tea service.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To ensure your group is seated together, we will assign seating in advance. Due to limited table configurations, groups less than six may be seated alongside another group. Each party will receive their own tea setup (teapot and tiered tray).

  • On account of limited seating, we are unable to offer a lower price for children. This experience is best enjoyed by adults and older children that are able to attend for the two hour duration of the event, and who may enjoy the diverse foods that will be served.

    If you would like to bring younger children, please consider The Little Lawn Party. This event was created to allow more families to enjoy the day with us.

  • Food will be prepared before our event starts. If you have an allergy concern, please call 978-834-5058 or email events@amesburycarriagemuseum.org prior to purchasing your ticket.

  • The lawn party will be held rain or shine. Some activities may be modified to fit under tents.

    In the case of a dangerous weather situation, you will be offered a refund or the chance to transfer your credit to another experience or apply the funds toward an ACM membership.

  • How will I receive my photo?

    We will send out a link to a photo gallery in the week following the event.

    Email us with your photo voucher code and the number of the photo you would like printed.

    Prints will be available in the Industrial History Center on May 16 to be picked up at your convenience.

    Each adult ticket or family pass will include one voucher.

    Photos can be mailed/delivered on special request

  • If you have purchased tickets for the High Tea, you are automatically registered for the Little Lawn Party.
