makers market
call for artisans & crafters!
SATURDAY, JULY 22 / RAIN DATE: SUNDAY, JULY 23
Industrial history center, mill 2, UPPER MILLYARD
AMESBURY, MA
10 AM - 4 PM
Join us on July 22nd for our inaugural summer fundraiser for our Community Yard Sale & Makers Market. We are looking for artisans and crafters for the Makers Market who use sustainable processes and materials to create their art. Reuse, Recycle, and Repurpose is our theme so that we can do our part as good citizens, while also raising funds for our programs and operations.
what we are looking for
Eight to ten artisans will be selected to participate in this first-time event at the Industrial History Center. We will select participants who will provide shoppers with creative, quality items representing a diversity of sustainable processes and materials. Artisans who can provide educational information, demos, or participatory activities will be given preference.
We provide the space inside the Industrial History Center for a 6-foot table (or other display option), supplied by you. The Center is a beautiful museum built in a historic 1826 mill building, retaining its original features with brick and stone walls and high ceilings. The perfect surroundings to enhance your art!
Each space is $50, paid prior to the event and you will keep 100% of your sales proceeds.
how to apply
Fill in the following application by June 30th. A representative photograph is required (JPEG format, 2 MB maximum size). We will get back to you with our decision by July 7th (or earlier). There is no application fee.
