The 2019 Annual Meeting
On Monday, September 16 we will hold our 34th Annual Meeting at Ristorante Molise (details here). There are still a few seats available for the meeting. Please act today if you would like to join us - we may soon run out of room. You can reserve your place online here or by contacting the museum before Wednesday, September 11.

The meeting will include an update about our progress in developing the Industrial History Center, the introduction of incoming officers and members of the Board of Directors, and a fascinating program by Dr. Elizabeth DeWolfe who will be speaking about the nature of women's work in the textile mills during the 19th century and how this history has meaning in our world today.

For those not able to join us, I will provide a written report in an upcoming edition of our e-newsletter.

The 2018 Annual Report
The Annual Report for 2018 is now available on our website here. The report is an accounting of our activities between January and December 2018. It seems only a short time ago that we celebrated the 350th Anniversary of the incorporation of Amesbury. And it was in 2018 that Greg Jardis donated space in Amesbury Industrial Supply. It certainly was an important year for the ACM. I hope you will take a look at the report to review all we accomplished in 2018. It is a strong reflection of the community we are building and of our many members, donors, and volunteers who make our work possible.

My thanks to you all for your interest and your support!

I look forward to seeing you soon.

With gratitude,

John Mayer
Executive Director
