Explore Amesbury - Mill 2

Hello kids, families, and friends,

The Amesbury Carriage Museum is excited to share our third edition of Youth and Family e-news – Explore Amesbury.

Once a month, we offer an Activity Guide with an article and activities of interest to children, families, and friends. Our focus is on the people and places of Amesbury, centering on our historic Millyard.

In better times, many of us enjoy walking through downtown Amesbury to visit our shops, gather with friends, or stop for a bite to eat. During these difficult times, we hope that our small contribution will give your family something new to learn and do. We hope that you will print our brief guide and visit an Amesbury landmark. Your visit won’t take long -- maybe 15 minutes, tops! We also hope that you’ll follow up with some of the activity choices we’ve shared.

This edition features a visit to Amesbury’s historic Mill 2 building. No doubt, you have passed by this landmark many, many times. We hope you’ll learn a bit about this familiar location with an extraordinary history.

Your friends,
Youth & Family Volunteer Committee
