Coming this Fall ...

Family Day, on Saturday, October 16th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, will be during our Grand Opening week of the Industrial History Center. Join us for free family-centered activities:

  • Zach Fields Drums & Music will draw us together with a musical program that is sure to delight.

  • Amesbury Library will have games and book-making activities.

  • There will be two photo opportunities: sitting inside an antique carriage or peeking through a carnival cutout.

  • Inside the Industrial History Center, the permanent exhibit charts the history of industry and work life through photographs, graphics, and artifacts to tell the story of Amesbury's community of "makers."

  • Children can make an artifact by putting together a windmill, creating textile art, or decorating a hat.

  • Go on scheduled or self-guided tours of the millyard.

We can't wait to see you and your family at Family Day, so make sure to mark it on your calendar!

Regards,
Youth & Family committee
