From the Executive Director's Desk: ACM at Two Car Shows!

During this - our first full year of programming - the ACM will have the pleasure of attending two car shows this year - both the Newburyport Car Show and the Carriagetown Car Show.

The early automotive era, from about 1900 to 1930, was when Amesbury developed a reputation as a boutique supplier of high-end auto bodies. Many of our members know the rich heritage of automobile body making in Amesbury, and we are a staple of the Carriagetown Car Show, with our antique vehicles on the bull-nose at Market Square, Amesbury.

This year, we are thrilled to be invited to bring our enthusiasm for automobile history (and a 1911 Electric Victoria Phaeton) to the Newburyport Car Show, Cruisin’ the 50s, on August 11th, in downtown Newburyport. The ACM will be hosting a tent with a vintage photo booth, to capture memories of this fun event in old-timey style.
